Dilan Sakinci

Dilan grew up in Türkiye and received a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Izmir Institute of Technology.  After working for a year as a research technician at the Stowers Institute, she joined the graduate program as a predoctoral researcher.  Dilan is excited to study yeast plasmids and their interactions, combining a love of genetics with hands-on yeast research.

 

Outside the lab, Dilan enjoys PC gaming, reading, and spending time with her cat.
